Do not buy kohler cast iron tub

Kohler cast iron tub has an anti slip coating on their bottom coating the cast iron. This material does not clean well. Constant dirt marks that do not come off. Tub is brand new barely used. Also rust stains. Brand new bathroom and tub and now I'm stuck with it because I would have to rip whole bathroom apart.

As the manufacturer, we are very interested in supplying our customers with a quality product that delivers beyond expectations. I am sorry this was not your experience. We recommend cleaning the tub with Kohler Cast Iron cleaner and use a soft nylon brush on the Safeguard® surface on the bottom of the bath. The Cast Iron material cannot rust on its own, what is seen is a surface rust. We would like to connect with you to discuss the rust removal process.
