I got this to go atop a somewhat higher than normal nightstand in the guest room. It was low enough not to blind someone trying to read in bed. It serves the purpose and looks good in the process.

Great Lamp
I replaced these lamps with taller ones that I had in my living room. I did expect them to be taller than they are. I didn't think I would like them because of that. I put them in place and they look perfect. So if you prefer a taller lamp, these aren't for you. Since I don't have a ceiling light I have to depend on the lamps to create enough light and they do. My previous lamps had a turn switch, these have the push the button on one side to turn it on, then push it back to turn it off. I have to get use to that. These lamps look good and light well. That's all I could ask for. I would definitely recommended these.

Nice Lamp
This lamp is a replica of a more expensive lamp I have. I was looking for a third table lamp for my living room. Ti looks nice and you cant beat the price.
