Dollar Store Paint Job
I really really wanted to love this lamp. It was the finishing touch in a newly remodeled Soccer bedroom. The first disappointment is the lamp shade is not white as you would expect...and as it looks in the picture, it is cream. Cream doesn't go with a white and black soccer ball. I was willing to replace that just to get the room finished. Luckily for me, I pulled the lamp out of the shipping box while I was still at Walmart to find a new shade and I noticed one of the cleats was broken off the base. That, combined with a paint job that looks like it came off a $1 item from the Dollar Tree, made it easy for me to walk directly up to Customer Service to return it. No chance I'd re-order and no way I would recommend to a friend.
