Plastic that looks like stone.
This lamp looks just like in the picture. I was surprised by it not actually made of ceramic. It's plastic and lightweight however it really looks like ceramic or stone. I would say that it's a quality made item and the shade is nice but it wasn't what I expected. I'm keeping it because it looks great where I'm using it. This is a single switch that can't use a three-way bulb but I just use the bulb I wanted so it doesn't matter to me. The bulb that came with it is not one that I'll use since it's a yellow toned bulb.
