Very Good

This is a great teaching tool for toddlers. I like that the numbers are taught using quantity first! It's important that children learn what the numbers mean before they have to write them. I would change the back page if I could. The quantity of boxes in the number strips should go with the written symbol! It's backward!

Good for review

I wouldn't use this as a beginning to number work. It might be confusing that the number of items is across from the symbol from the previous number of items. The thing I do see that is helpful about this set up is teaching how to check to see if they were right in their counting. Count everything up, turn the page and see if the symbol for what you counted is the same! This would only work if they knew the names of all the symbols.
