Great Flour for Biscuits!
I love this Flour, it makes the best biscuits! Too bad I had to drive all the way to Kentucky to get a sack of it. I wish my store (DeSoto) carried it.
Way too much sodium
The problem that I have with this flour is the 400 Mg Sodium content. I purchased this product to make a specialty bread which after baking looked and smelled great but tasted disgusting. One could taste the saltiness of the bread even though I add no salt. I eventually tasted a bit of the dry flour and noticed where the salty taste was. Why would any manufacturer add that much sodium to flour, as the person using this flour, let me be the one to add sodium. Very disappointed.
Yucky biscuits
This particular bag of flour was not satisfactory. Biscuits were gummy inside and I tried it several times thinking it was something I did wrong. But it was the flour I am hesitant to buy this brand again
