Very sturdy shelving piece, easy to assemble

I received this white Honey Can Do Steel Wire Shelf, which can hold up to 250 Lbs, and is 14" x 24". No tools required for assembly which was a plus, seems to be sturdy too. It came with little black pieces that you clip together and insert into the 4 holes on the ends so you can connect to other shelves I think. It's metal framed and heavy duty. And would be great for inside the house or the garage or outside. The ability to have multiple uses is appealing and it doesn't look too grungy but decent so could be used in house and not look too out of place or unattractive. I'm going to get some other pieces and may use it in my kitchen/dining area to hold dry food and snacks. But I could also use it for my towels and linens or tools. The shelf itself is structured nicely. I did receive this for free but the opinions and experiences are my own.

A nice wire shelf with the white plastic coating

Well I guess I need to read the description better; when it said "shelf" I thought this was going to be a set of shelves; it was, indeed, a shelf. As in 1. Had these little black plastic things you needed to put together which, I assume, would have had something to do with putting it together with the spacers in between other shelves, had there been more than one. No instructions came with it so it took a few minutes to figure out how to put those black plastic things together. Other than that, it was exactly as pictured. A shelf. One. As in one of a shelving unit. Can't really test it as a "shelf" as it is on the floor, so even if I put 250 pounds on it, which is the weight limit, it probably wouldn't fail because it is on the floor. That being said, if you already had this 16" x 36" shelving unit, then this shelf would probably work very well for adding to it.

Interesting that it's sold separately.

This is a very sturdy, well constructed piece. It's odd that it's sold separately as it's part of a set. But this is a nice looking, evenly coated painted shelf, and it's not going anywhere once you put it in place. It really shouldn't be sold separately, but here it is.
