This product falls into the price/function category, and in its advertised price range, it performs well and isn't overpriced. The functions provided by the manufacturer work smoothly with normal use, in my experience. It's important to remember that this is a consumer product with a reasonable expected lifespan, rather than a lifelong investment.

Until we got these Bar Stools we'd never been happy with the bar stools and chairs we have tried for our serving bar. Some were too tall, some too short, several too tippy or mechanically weak, and so we really haven't gotten the use from that part of the kitchen / dining area that we'd hoped for. These are just perfect for our needs, with plenty of easy height adjustment, very solid construction, and an appearance we can be proud of.
