What is this?
An embroidery hoop or (earlier) tambour frame consists of a pair of concentric circular rings. The larger ring has a tightening metal screw, can be repositioned as needed. How to use it?
Unscrew the outer ring and inner ring of the embroidery ring, and put a blank cloth on the inner ring. Then place the outer ring on the cloth and apply appropriate pressure on the outer ring to make the cloth and the double rings stick together. Finally, make sure that the cloth in the circle is flat, lock it by tightening the screws on the outer ring.
