Wonderful
It was me and my brother in law and a mountain of oysters. We were out numbered, the odds of the world stacked against us. Being a full blooded Cajun, my brother in law had the shucking skills compared to Wyatt Earp's shooting at the OK Coral. Me on the other hand, only a half blood, so the skills are sub par. Armed with my Bubba oyster knife, he had the knives handed down with the ghosts of coonass past living within the blades. We began shucking. With the design of the blade, I was at levels far beyond my skill set. We were able to tackle the oysters and come out triumphantly. He realized it was time to retire the relics of our ancestors and move on to a Bubba, in hopes that when they are past down they will help out the next generation. The handle was comfortable too.

No oysters here in Missouri but lots of racks of ribs...AMAZING for removing the silver skin on the backside of the ribs. Non-Slip handle makes the job a breeze....I have almost every single Bubba Blade....Love Them...!!!!

Outstanding performance
I purchased this oyster knife because all my previous knives fail. Either the handle strips from the torque required to open the shell or they don't have a blade strong enough to pry with. I have been serving oysters at Christmas Eve for 45 years and this is the first knife I have the utmost confidence in and I think it will last a long time.
