Not even close.

I'm leaving today to go take a Mopar 360 small block engine to a customer. I pulled the cradle from the box and noticed it has many scratches and nicks. Should have been powder coated well to make it right. I went to put it on the Mopar small block engine and it wouldn't fit. First the rear plates that line up with the block pin and one transmission hole above the pin weren't close at all. Off by 3/8” to 1/4” off low. Next I tried to get the front tube that goes between the engine mount ears wasn't even close at all. So I had to cut the back square tubes that had the welded plate for each side of the rear of the engine. Then I had to grind the left front engine mount tube down to fit into the engine mount ears on the engine block because the tube was too long. Lastly I had to pull the front engine square support tube forward to even be close to getting the round tube to go between the ears on the block. What a mess. I've done business with Jegs quite a bit. This kind of problem should never exist because now I see this cradle has terrible reviews. I had to have the engine painter help me so I could even load and take this engine four and a half hours away to the client. Thanks for making me late. Jegs, Stop buying them if they're this bad. I can build you a lot heavier cradle and fit properly and I could sell them to you. These are junk and cost me money. Not at all right. I will add photos when I get back. And now I will need to build a better cradle because this shouldn't even be allowed in the market. It could be unsafe!

unhappy

It is supposed to be rated at 1000lbs? You've got to be kidding. The cross brace is drilled to use 5/16 bolts and the supply package had bolts that were so small the flat washers pulled through the holes!! I put 5/16 bolts in it. I also had to trim the top off of the rear tubing because it hit the block under the bell housing mount and I couldn't put the bolts in.

Requires modification for 318/360 Magnum.

As mentioned by other reviewers, this required modification to make a Magnum 318 fit. I had to cut about 1/2 inch off the back legs to make the engine fit. Also, after assembled, mine was kinda bent, so I had a bit of a difficult time getting bolt holes to line up. Finally, the bolts that came with to mount the engine are useless and require replacing. The bolts for rear mounting are the wrong thread, the bolts that go through the mounting tabs on the sides of the engine are too short. Either it's a quality control issue or the item itself needs some tweaks. Nothing that can't be easily fixed. 3/5. Easily a 4/5 or 5/5 if they fixed these minor issues.
