Bitfunx Psxmemcard PS1 Memory Card for Sony PlayStation 1 PS One Console | Game Data Storage

The Psxmemcard is a PSX console memory card built on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 chip. It fully replaces the original console memory card and supports micro SD cards for expandable storage capacity. It stores all your game saves on the memory card, and can be connected to your computer via USB to directly transfer saves to and from the PsxMemCard.

Important Note: Never connect the PicoMemcard to both your PC (via USB) and the PSX console at the same time!

It is a brand-new solution for PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 (PlayStation 1 games only), which solves the challenge of permanent game save file storage.

File Format Notes
Memory card image files must be exactly 128 KB (131072 bytes) in size.
The PSXmemcard only supports files with the .MCR file extension.
However, .MCR and .MCD extensions are interchangeable, and can be converted between each other simply by renaming the file. For other file formats, we recommend using Memcard Rex to convert to the required output format.
The card supports hundreds of memory card images. Each image must be named N.MCR, where N is an integer (e.g. 1, 2, 3, etc.), such as 0.MCR, 1.MCR, and so on. On startup, the first image loaded will always be the one with the lowest number.

LED Status Indicator
1.SD card read failure: LED flashes continuously
2.Data not fully synchronized (DO NOT turn off the PSX): LED is off
3.Data fully synchronized: LED is solid on
4.Memory card image switched: 3 rapid LED flashes
5.No memory card image change (end of image list): 9 rapid LED flashes
6.New memory card image created: Multiple rapid consecutive LED flashes

Critical Safety Warning
After saving your game, please wait for the LED to turn off before powering off the console. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your most recent game progress.
