The North America NEMA 5-15 plug to IEC 60320 C13 female connector power cord works with most PCs, monitors, scanners, and printers. Connect your computer, monitor, power adapter, or other device with a male IEC 60320 C14 panel connector to a standard US AC wall outlet. The power cord features a standard, grounded NEMA 5-15P plug on one end and an IEC 60320 C13 connector on the other end. Simply mate the female C13 connector with the male C14 connector on your device or power adapter, then plug the NEMA connector into a nearby AC power outlet, UPS, or other AC power source. 18AWG is a standard cable gauge and will work perfectly in most applications. These cables are designed to carry up to a 10 amp, 125 volt load.

Perfect Cable - Recommend This Cable
With 2 PCs and 4 monitors, the standard power cord for the 4th monitor was stretched so tight it twanged like a treble guitar string. Also, with all the black cables, it was a challenge to keep track, even when labeled. This blue cable provides a quick visual ID and the extra length is perfect.

Perfect Power
The cable is exactly as specified, and thanks to the color options I am able to color-code the power cables coming in to my UPS from the desktop system as well as the multiple peripherals. It makes things much easier when I want to disconnect something from power completely.

Good price (discounted) and color makes it easy to identify
I got the blue color as they were discounted. I'm a live sound engr and always prefer to have different colors for different type of cables as that makes things easier to identify. The cable is pretty much standard, and I don't need thicker cable as I normally just allocate 1 for each speaker. If you have the same preference and need like me, get the colored ones.
