Sweet little sippy! I was given this Chicco Rim Spout Trainer Sippy Cup as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel in exchange for an honest review. My little is 23 months and while he can use many types of cups, he can also make a mess with most of them! The Chicco Rim Spout Trainer Sippy Cup is an excellent transitional cup for babies and toddlers learning how to sip from a cup instead of suck from a bottle or soft spout. My son liked the cup quickly and was able to figure it out right away. He was not able to create spills with this cup, or jam his fingers inside to break the valve. This is a strong cup that wont leak or break in your childs hands! It is very parent friendly when it comes to washing and assembling. 4 simple parts include the cup, flow control valve, the lid and a cap. Easy to use and dishwasher safe! Because the valve is removable this cup is great for a range of ages. I will be able to take the valve out for a free flow once my son is less tempted to spill everything he can. I like the design of the Chicco Rim Spout Trainer Sippy Cup. I received a cup with a fun green and teal design that has sweet turtles and frogs. I think that the size of the cup (9oz) is great for older toddlers, however it could be more narrow in the middle to accommodate babies and younger tots with tiny hands. It does encourage my son to use two hands to steady his cup, so I like that. All in all I would definitely recommend this cup for all babies and toddlers ready use a sippy in a mess free way. The Chicco Rim Spout Trainer Sippy Cup would make an excellent shower or first birthday gift! This is a cup that can grow with your baby and is built for ease of use and to last. Great job Chicco!
