THE BEST AT ANY PRICE
I have come to the conclusion that the Microsoft mouse is the best for me. In my experience they work like they are supposed to and they last longer. The other name-brand mouse that was used on the other computer has died; but the much older Microsoft is still trucking along. I was looking for a simple right/left click, scroll up/down mouse and this one fit the bill. I have no need for those high-tech mice (?) that seem to do everything but get up and walk away. I don't need to scroll left and right; or go to certain files in one click; or what- ever else they can be programmed to do...my computer already does those things when I ask it to. This mouse feels really good in my hand. It has a good solid right/left click. It was so inexpensive until I bought two...never hurts to have a stand-by...the best of anything may eventually die. I am really pleased with this mouse. I recommend it highly.

It doesn't have the solid heavy feel of the good old MS ball mice. It is sensitive and the pointer never misses the mark. Acceleration is fast and sure, and it stops on a pixel. Pushing the wheel doesn't always move the pointer/cursor as happens on some lousy mouses. Clicks are adequately audible but not distracting. Just right. I hope this mouse lasts a long long time.
