(2 pack) Sun-Maid® California Sun-Dried Raisins 32oz Resealable Stand-Up Zipper Bag

This item used to be carried in their stores, but no longer. So, now, I have to order. Only the smaller packages remain in the store, and they are not large, plump and soft as the product in the 32oz bag. And, it's the same price the store had been charging. Worth the extra effort to order on-line.

Raisins! I mean who knew?? I am an older lady and I am just now learning about putting the raisins that I plan to eat in hot water to “puff” them out. I use my Keurig machine to run plain hot water into my cup of raisins that I plan to eat with my bagel each morning. “Puffing” the raisins by putting them in hot water for a few minutes, makes the skin softer and a much more palatable texture than raisins that have not been puffed. It's a whole New World with soft, warm, puffy raisins than with the old hard wrinkled ones. So now you know the secret to serving and eating scrumptious raisins. But let me take just a moment to mention the packaging. I prefer the large box to the zippered bag. It's so much more sanitary to pour the raisins out of the box, instead of sticking my hand down into the sack. The box is a few ounces smaller than the sack but I will buy the box even if I buy two at a time instead of the sack.
