The Hosley Metal Pail with Chalkboard is a really cute item that has a multitude of uses. I think that having several of them would look good in an office or bathroom or other room where you wanted a country-ish feel to the decor, while being functional as well. This metal pail is a little larger than a quart of ice cream for reference. The chalkboard portion of it is fairly large and allows you room to write or draw. It cleans up easily with water and allows you to use it over and over again. I believe the chalkboard is made with paint. The metal looks kind of like galvanized metal. It's reminiscent of old-fashioned buckets or cans. It has a rustic feel to it. The handle is easy to remove but also holds it up nicely. It's attached with a little "L" shaped bend to the ends of the handle. I don't know if it's waterproof or not. It is metal so it's quite durable. I have put some bathroom accessories in it for a sense of the dimensions.
