Work well to darken a room for day sleeping.
I have 2 of these in the same room. They block the light unless its morning or evening sun that shines right on on them. Then they glow a little but it really isnt bad. The only way to avoid that is probably to use black shades or foil on your windows. Because they are window coverings there is going to be some light leakage around the edges if they arent touching the window frame. I tuck the edges into the window and have no issues. Its enough darkness for me to feel like its nightime at 4pm. Note: If you dont hang them level you will chew up the low edge of the blinds. I know this because my husband hung one out of level and if I dont pull it to the high side it will chew up the edge. The level one does not have this issue.
