This window shade fit perfectly. We didn't need to cut it because it was the exact size we needed for our window. We did an outside mount to make sure no light came in through a very sun filled window side that needed darkening from the extreme heat that enters in the summer. Everything we needed to install the shade was included, either as inside or outside mount.
