Polarized lenses contain a laminated filter that allows only vertically oriented light to pass through. This blocks the horizontally oriented light, virtually eliminating any glare. This particular set features 1 pair of tortoise frames with green mirror lenses and a pair of blue-fade frames with smoke lenses. Polarized smoke lenses provide maximum UV protection while affording true color perception. Polarized green mirror lenses improve contrast and color accuracy while the mirror reflects glare.
