TCL 50" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Smart Android TV – 50S434

My family and I have bought two of this particular model. A couple years ago it was reviewed by Linus from LTT on Youtube. He was looking at budget tier 4k TV's and this one got his approval. The audio it is able to output isn't that impressive and there has certainly been more responsive Smart TV's but this one is acceptable. The panel that is used in this model was the selling point for me, it's color accuracy is good for it's price range. Linus mentioned this when reviewing the 50S434, they have tools to measure color accuracy and it scored well. In my opinion, people should be more concerned with a panel's color accuracy, this makes or breaks the 4k experience. They only seem to be interested in the width of the screen. More screen real estate is great but not so great if the panel that is used is not color accurate or if the pixel density is stretched too far. If two screens have the same resolution, (4k, for example) the larger one will have less pixel density as the same number of pixels will be distributed among the larger screen so the result smaller pixel density.
