It works fine. I have purchased at least 4 Lasko fans in the past and they have all worked fine. Most, if not all, were purchased at Wal-Mart. Very easy to assemble, quiet, and really help on hot evenings. Since t he store shelves were bare due to the recent heat wave here, I knew I could find it on-line. Quick delivery, prompt and courteous service at the store pick-up, made this purchase a nice experience. Kudos to Highland, Ca. Wal-Mart and Wal Mart wrehouse.
