Performance Tool W2124 24-Inch Aluminum Pipe Wrench

This is the best tool for having around to fix pipes and other metal things that are hard to break loose in cramped conditions, like nuts and bolts, and such. This 10" pipe wrench is considerably lighter than the one I already have. And if I need more leverage than the 10" handle can handle I can always put an extension pipe on the end of the handle to break things loose. The 10" one I already have weighs 583grams and this new aluminum pipe wrench is only 467grams. Much lighter in the hand and makes the job easier. You can see the comparison of the two in one of the photos. The handle/body is aluminum, but the head and teeth are made of steel. I needed an extra 10" to help with tight jobs while fixing the plumbing around the house. Everyone should have one of these. Storage is also easy because of its small size. This tool is great! Very solidly built pipe wrench. This is a great addition to my tool collection. It's easy to adjust and has a nice rubberized coating over the handle .
