Traditional Medicinal Mother's Milk, Organic Tea Bags, 16 Count

We love this herbal tea! Great for calming our digestion and also great for soothing our muscles and joints when we are experiencing pain, like from exercise, yard work %26 gardening, and also from arthritis. We also like it's very distinctive, slightly bitter flavor! We're not doctors but this is what works for us, maybe it will help ease your pain, too.

I really enjoy this tea in the evening. It has a light almost citrusy flavor. Nothing overpowering to the taste buds; just pleasant. It all contributes to a soothing and calm drink at the end of the day. I lean more towards this flavor profile more than chamomile (more floral/summer tasting), but do still rotate the lavender/chamomile flavor in for something different. My preference. For best flavor: herbal tea should steep at water boiled to 200-212 degrees Fahrenheit and steep per the directions on the package (I go with the longer steep on their scale). Herbal teas do take quite a bit of time to steep vs black or green; I prefer to cover my cup with a saucer while it's steeping to keep it hot, start the kids going to bed, and tea after. If it steeps longer than called for; no harm done. Whereas black tea can taste bitter if over-steeped; this tea is consistent in flavor and doesn't deviate much from the original flavor with the additional time. I like the Traditional Medicinals brand so far. This is the first for this flavor for me in this brand. I used another brand in the past--this tea is more readily available, same quality, and less expensive. I'm familiar with the brand for years now with their Raspberry Leaf tea (it's a proven favorite for me once a month). I would recommend this line of tea and the Lemon Balm flavor if you're looking for a calm cuppa in the afternoon/evening.
