Wagner 30 inch Wide Solid Acacia Wood Mid Century Modern Coffee Table in White/Natural

Let me just say upfront that I do overall like this coffee table. It arrived promptly and in one piece! It has the look and feel that I was trying to achieve for a price that I could justify! However, it is not without its faults: Firstly, be aware that the photos used in the listing are just digital renders of the table (which becomes obvious when you zoom in.) And consequently, portray the metal legs of the table much differently than they appear in reality. In real life, the finish is both much darker/less uniform and "antique-ified." If you are specifically looking for that bright gold finish with no intentional relic-ing, I would look elsewhere. I personally don't mind the look, but it is still very different from what the listing portrays. Secondly, the wood shelf looks good from arm's length away but is not without its faults. Up close it shows multiple areas where wood filler has been used and the areas where the pieces butt up are not very even (see photos.) But overall, I do still like the look of the wood shelf and I would choose it over cheap MDF veneer any day. Thirdly, the reason that I purchased this coffee table in the first place-- the solid marble top. It is gorgeous! I don't have any other marble pieces to compare it to, but it looks great! The assembly instructions mention using four M6x18mm bolts to attach the marble top to the metal bracket beneath. I did not receive any 18mm bolts. I did, however, receive plenty of 12mm bolts which I used instead and connected the marble top successfully. I'm not sure if they have just changed the process without updating the instructions or if I did not receive everything I needed. Either way, the shorter bolts worked just fine. I also appreciated the extra hardware that was included (2 bolts (both 12mm), 2 washers, and 2 rubber feet.) Overall, assembly was pretty straightforward, however, the process is fatiguing due to the weight of the wood and marble rounds (but the heft does make for a more premium feeling piece.) Overall, I'm quite happy with the coffee table for the price I paid. It will make for a great addition to my living room!

This is an absolutely beautiful coffee table made of real wood and marble. As someone else noted, it is VERY heavy, which makes assembly (and moving the table in general) a bit tricky. (I did it upside down on a yoga mat -- an approach I'd recommend). I wouldn't change the weight, however, as it contributes to the quality feel of the piece. The table has squishy feet to protect your floors, which mean you don't have to worry if you need to slide it a bit to reposition it once it's assembled. That was important to me, especially because I live in a rental and don't want to damage anything! I did notice the feet seemed to let out some dirt or manufacturing dust if you pulled them out or pushed them to one side, but that was not a big deal. I feel it's important to say that the table I received had a major crack in the wood shelf. It looks as if maybe there was a crack in the wood to begin with that was glued/fused, but then came apart. After going back and forth -- Simpli Home has been very responsive -- they are sending me a new table. Although it has been a lengthy process, I appreciate that they've so thoroughly replied and are remedying the issue. Overall, I would recommend this piece. It's a beautiful addition to my small living room and the quality is evident. I also am happy to support a company that has excellent service.
