This mower is great and American made, nothing metric.

I bought this mower last year (915141) and got a bagger kit (815036) for it. My grass retains so much moisture that the bagger would plug up. I got in touch with the factory warrenty people and got the problen resolved. I tried it against a competer (it was blue) and had started to rain. Finally the blue machine had to quit mowing because his blower kept plugging up. They asked me if I could make his high price mower do as good as my ZOOM 42 and I gave him the phone number for an Ariens dealer. I have about $3000.00 less money in my mower than his and my Zoom is hands down better than his speedster 44.

Love my Zoom 42 Zero Turn

Had a John Deere Tractor for many years and it still ran and cut very well. I kept hearing guys tell how they liked the zero turn, so I sold my tractor and bought an Ariens, Best decision I ever made. It cut the mowing of my 2 acres almost in half and it's so much fun. The fact that it's American made is just a plus. I used to have to slow down in the spring when the grass was thick but now I just plow right through it and still get an excellent cut. I also love the very confortable seat and the fact that you can lean back on it. Some of my lawn used to be a hay field and is kind of rough, so I wish it had some shock absorbers.

Easy to drive. It took one mowing to get the hang of it but what fun. Looked at a Toro and others but the triple blade deck and reviews sold me on Ariens. Only Ariens had a 42" deck with three blades. The triple blades mows real nice. I bought some nice wheel covers for it. looks real cool.
