Great bargain!

I had a super easy time putting together this box. The instructions were easy to use, and I didn't actually need to read any of them. I just went by the pictures, and each part is marked, just to make it even easier. I added some assembly photos. It is pretty sturdy, I'm sure you could really use it as a seat, if you actually wanted to. I like that it has a slot for a padlock, but I also think if a thief was determined, they could just pick up the whole thing and run with it. It is fairly lightweight. I was most concerned about whether the hinges would be any good on the box, and I'm glad to report, they seem pretty good actually. Each hinge is all one hard plastic piece, so it won't end up with little parts that fall off after a few uses. As for weather resistant, It's made of that same resin that they use for outside furniture, so I'm sure it really is waterproof, and long lasting in heavy sun. But that will remain to be seen for sure, If any issues come up, I will update my review with some choice words. For the price it's listed as, this is a great bargain, and a great alternative to those expensive deck boxes, that you would have to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for. Worth every penny!

Purchased it to storage propane canisters out of the weather and I've been very pleased with it. I would not lock anything valuable in it, as it would be easy to break into, but as a storage box to keep items shielded from rain and snow it works great.

Keeps Things Dry

This is a great little box. The price is low and it keeps stuff dry. I agree that the instructions are a little odd, but if you just put all of the nice parts facing up and out, then work: bottom-side-side-front-back- top-done. This is fantastic for the price and cleans up all the clutter yard fertilizers, pesticides, and anything you want to keep dry outside. This does lock and would use a smaller lock, or a re-use-able zip tie.
