I purchased this product to be an external drive for my computer because the internal CD drive is broken . I was surprised at how sleek the unit is, which I like becuse it sits on top of my computer tower without taking up much space. I love electronics that you can operate without having to read a manual, and this on fits the bill perfectly. It did the job I purchased it for, by installing the software from my new printer into my computer. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Perfect for a tablet

I got this to give my tablet an optical drive. Works like I expected with no problems. It comes with the USB cable which says needs to be connected to 2 USB ports to operate properly. I only had one port to connect it to and it worked just fine for me although it says it needs two. Results may vary. Good drive for the price.
