Then Again by Diane Keaton

I just finished reading Then Again, and I am all ready trying to find the time to go back and reread parts to note! This is not a book about fame but about a real relationship between a mother and a daughter, and the pivotal time when American women were just realizing that a woman didn't have to be a stay-at-home mom, that it was okay for women to realize their individual dreams. Ms. Keaton's mother's voice was very real from her journals and letters, intwined with Diane's life experiences. This biography is not written in the standard sense of life to death but rather a blending of life and time in the family. I am glad that I have her latest book, Let's Just Say It Wasn't Pretty, to read as soon as I finish absorbing her first memoir.
