Excellent Set, Better than the Original

Okay, I am a DIE HARD Indiana Jones fan since I was 6. I have all of the original LEGO sets from 2008-2009, and even many duplicates of them. I even have an entire replica of Indiana Jones's outfit! With that being said, this set is fantastic! The pictures do not do it justice. When you have this thing in front of you, it look a lot bigger and deeper than it looks, leaving you with the feel that this thing is actually underground. With the 2008 version, the set in its entirety looks more like an alter for the Ark instead of an actual tomb. Also, the way the statue topples through the wall works and looks way better than it's predecessor. And don't even get me started on Minifigures. The updated figures are great, and the inclusion of Sallah is something all fans of LEGO Indiana Jones have wanted for 14 years now. Now let's talk about value, this set and its counterpart “Fighter Plane Chase” probably have the best value for your money that we've received so far this decade. It's not overpriced for a change and a worthwhile set to get. Thank you LEGO for making this set and please, listen to all us fans and DO NOT DISCONTINUE LEGO INDIANA JONES!

Great set at a great price

I bought this set to sit alongside the Temple of Doom set. The build is pretty straightforward and it's a display piece for me, which is why I low scored the build and play experience. The drop plate at the rear of the model is a bit wasted unless you are playing with the set. You simply can't see it when it's on display. I agree with the person who said sand coloured snake clips would be be better. I'm not a fan of stickers, even more so with worsening eye sight, but they do add to the great look of the set. Overall it's a great addition to the Indy theme and very good value for money.

I love you guys! ♥️

I really liked this set mainly because of Anubis. when I saw the ad I thought "I need to put this next to my Giza pyramid". And I was also surprised to see R2-D2 and C-3PO in the hieroglyphs! Amazing!! ♥️
