Less frequent is already a blessing
Black cohesh works for me, the hit flashes did not completely go away, but it's of shorter duration and less frequent. I have tried zinc which my good frd swears on, but did not help me one bit.

THIS REALLY WORKS FOR ME
I am a very youthful 57. A few months ago, my body suddenly and abruplty went through some overdue midlife changes... EEEEEEEEK! I thought I was losing my mind!! My best-friend-hubby was definitely losing his, because almost every time I opened my mouth, something witchy would come out... which isn't like me!I prefer to go the natural route, so I did some research and decided to try Black Cohosh. It makes a definite difference. However, for me, Black Cohosh alone isn't enough, so I also take Wild Yam in capsule form, and Evening Primrose Oil. (I tried a Soy Supplement, but that seemed to make my hot flashes and moodiness worse. I also tried Swanson's Menopause Essentials, and that didn't suit me, either.)Today, 6 months after my menopause began, I feel normal again... and now, my best-friend-hubby is telling all his friends about how well these herbs work!
