Not for use on carpet
This is a very functional stool at a good cost. Unfortunately, the use I had for it was in a room which is carpeted and some reviewers on other sites had indicated it worked. Not for me. If your carpet has any pile to it or perhaps if you weigh more (I'm 140 pounds) then don't count on that use. Othewise, a great stool.

Thank you for your feedback. Due to the nature of casters they sometimes have trouble moving along carpet with a heavier pile. A plastic floor protector allows for a smooth surface for your chair to roll along and protects your carpeting. As Advertised
As advertised, delivered in timely fashion, quality appears to be excellent. Only criticism I have is upholstery is a bit "slippery" as you frequently find yourself sitting on on part of the top, there can slide off. Not a serious problem however. I may recover.
