What a nice set of shelves! Our only problem with them is deciding in which configuration we'll put them up. We got the set of 3 because it's a better value and it gives us more options. The shelves came nicely packaged and include the hardware and a thoughtful thank you poem. The shelves are sized as described, and it's nice that they're actually a little deeper than we envisioned. At under 2 feet, they aren't the widest on the market, but if you're planning for a small area, the size is fine. We got them to try because we have a couple small walls where they would look cute as a triple-floating display, or we could split them up and use them as single shelves in different spots, or we were thinking to line them all up together and make a nice long display shelf. We like the shelves because they look really nice. It's fake wood, of course, but it looks like and has a texture like woodgrain. The color is a dark brown wood, which is darker than other wood in the house, but since each shelf has a unique pattern, it's a more interesting choice than the solid black or white. The construction of the shelves looks good to start. Once they're up, they're not going to be banged up, so hopefully, the edging won't come apart. The bracket that hangs the shelf is metal. It felt light and was slightly flexible, so it's not as strong of metal as another floating shelf we have. But once it's screwed to the wall, it should be solid. We can't say how much weight it will hold. That depends on if any of the screws hit a stud. If so, we'll feel fine about putting anything on it. If not, and it's only being held by the drywall anchors, we'll put moderate weight on it. After all, these shelves are sized for knick-knacks and collectibles, so those wouldn't be too heavy. Oh, and it's a small detail, but we thought that it was considerate to put little plastic pull tabs on the mounting brackets to help pull them out of the shelves. All in all, this looks like a fine set of floating shelves. We know from experience that they're easy to install. The hardest part is deciding where. I found these Induslyfe floating wall shelves on Walmart.com because I needed something behind my sofa for small decor items and I didn't want anything on the floor for easier cleaning. My first impression was that the black finish actually looked cleaner and more modern than I expected for the price, and the shelves are really sturdy once mounted. I installed both in around 30 minutes and used them as a long narrow shelf setup behind the couch instead of buying a bulky sofa table, honestly it made the whole room feel more open. I notice they are deep enough for candles, coasters, and a couple small plants without looking oversized, and I like that nothing bumps into them when people walk through the room. For my setup, these worked out better than a traditional sofa table and I would absolutely buy another set again.
