Amazing!! Someone says its quiet, (43 db) and it really is (on low setting). On high its about 55db., which is same as one of those 22 inch round floor fans on high. This unit has an inverter style compressor which saves about 40% of what the other portable unit I had before used. THIS UNIT HAS HEAT AS WELL,,, NOT HAPPY WITH WALMART GUARANTEE,,, READ THE FINE PRINT, THE 4 YEAR WARRANTY STARTS DAY ONE, SO YOUR PAYING FOR THE MFG. WARRANTY AND THE WALMART WARRANTY FOR THE SAME TIME PERIOD
