Best and fastest computer I have ever used. I am not disappointed at all, couldn’t ask for a Better.

It’s small. REALLY small. Like you aren’t sure if you bought a whole computer or some tablet conversion thing. I thought the 15” was too big so I went with the XPS 13”. At 2.7 pounds, it’s barely there, BUT the power you get in such a small package is phenomenal. I’m an international student and carrying a clunky laptop to class and on long flights seemed awful so I wanted light. This computer fits the bill. So far it seems super fast, the keys are backlit and comfortable to type. Be prepared - it has no cd drive and barely any recognizable plug ins if you’re old school and learned on a Tandy, that means adapters and docks. It has one USB port and no HDMI so you have to have peripherals to hook it to anything. The thunderbolt is yet another new technology that doesn’t match your old technology but I guess that’s how technology goes, right? It’s annoying but I like quality products that last and I don’t mind buying the things I need to do a job as long as they do what I need them to do, so I went ahead and bought a dock too. Being able to grab the computer and go without it weighing me down was a price I was willing to pay for the inconvenience of not being able to plug in multiple devices. Make sure you know what your needs and expectations are. I originally ordered this computer from Best Buy, then they cancelled my order and I frantically looked around because no one, not even Dell had the XPS 13 in 1TB and I knew I wanted that. Sams had it $200 cheaper than the one I ordered at Best Buy. I did a lot of research on the graphics because there was 4K or QHD. The QHD is supposed to be a few smaller pixels than the 4K, but I still think the graphics are great, bright and sharp, fine for my needs. And the QHD supposedly doesn’t run down the battery as fast as 4K, so that’s a consideration. I’ve had it a little over a week now, so not sure yet how well it really fits my needs long term, but so far I’m very impressed.
