FUNDAZE 8x8ft Hanging Cantilever Patio Umbrella with Base, Square Outdoor Sun Shade with Crank & Tilt for Garden, Backyard, Deck,Red

This was actually pretty easy to put together, and it looks great. The hand crank is easy on my arthritic hands, and my 7 foot tall brother, can fit under it without stooping! My biggest concern in buying a patio umbrella, was whether it was well made, and that hopefully, I would find one that would be easy to assemble. I feel like this umbrella meets my needs and wants really well. The assembly went pretty fast, You just fill the weights with sand and a little water. Then add the bars to the base. Then add the pole, and attach the umbrella. The instructions were very easy to understand and follow, and all tools and hardware were provided in the box. It's so far held up well, despite a lot of wind (it's windy season, perfect time to test an umbrella right?). Of course, so far we've remembered to fold it up, whenever a storm comes up. The big test will be when we forget to. I chose beige, because it's a neutral color, and who knows what color scheme anyone might need to change to, in ten years or so. Plus, lighter colors stay longer in heavy sun, and we have a lot of that in Colorado, all year round. It seems well made, It's mostly of steel construction, and of course the fabric of the umbrella. And the fabric is waterproof and easy to clean, since we already had to hose it off after doing a little construction near it. Sorry that there is so much junk left in my photos, but we are cleaning up a family member's hoarded house, and this is the first thing she wanted after we've finished most of the cleanup. Only time will really tell if it's as good as I think it is, but if any trouble or complaints come up, I will definitely update my review, so I guess, stay tuned? Just received my patio umbrella, let me just say the item arrived quickly. Everything inside was packed securely and the box it came in held up nicely. Thank you to the FedEx driver who placed it at the top of the porch steps. It made it easy for me to slide it in the house, because the box was a bit heavy. The box had a convenient handle sticking out of it to grab on and pull. Life saving!!! About the umbrella and base. The umbrella is gorgeous the apple green is so rich and vibrant. Glad I chose this color. The fabric is a quality polyester , suppose to be weather , wind, UV and fade resistant . Does not look thin or cheap. The frame is coated, sturdy and rust resistant. It has tilt and crank mechanism. The base is heavy duty and can be filled with wet sand for up to 100 Ibs of stability . Has nylon strap for storing . Couldn’t get a picture of it fully assembled, still too cold out. But went through everything in the box and everything checks out. I would recommend. Can’t wait to display this summer.
