Unit Is Ok, Assuming It Isn't Damaged

Unit quality is about what you'd expect for the quality. Design is decent but from the other reviews, it's seems like I'm not alone in have quality issues. Unit arrived within a few days of purchase and the outer packaging was in perfect condition. I carefully opened it and noticed a few minor blemishes on some of the boards before assembly. I'm a pretty handy guy, but it took me about 2 hours to put together. As I was about 75% complete, I noticed one of the plastic tracks (that the doors slide in) was cracked down half of the length. Figuring it's too late in the process to disassemble and return, I placed the broken track in the upper section as it's more of a guide. I'm probably going to have to glue it as it is needed to keep the door from coming loose. I wasn't a fan of the style of legs, so I ordered some replacements from a different vendor at the same time I ordered this unit. Now it stands a little taller and looks a little more high end (in my opinion). Because the unit is over 14” deep on the outside, I thought it would be large enough to fit vinyl records inside the cabinet. WRONG. The inner dimensions are only 12” deep, so about a half inch short of what I had envisioned. I was also hoping to put my Denon audio receiver in the center. NOPE. Again to shallow to accommodate opening the doors if it cannot clear the track. Lastly, the doors themselves have staple holes on the sides from the manufacturer assembly. Super noticeable with the black color I ordered. Overall disappointed with this purchase but in way to deep to reverse course and return. Wouldn't recommend this item.
