Good for the price

This arrived folded up in a box. It emits no odor and it laid flat pretty easily. The intentional fading in the pattern reminds me of the three real but worn hand made oriental rugs I owned 50 years ago. They offered a magical transformation of my room that is hard to describe but it is a feeling of luxury for me. To my taste, these add flair to any room and they can also be used as a sound dampening wall hanging. It does look a bit nicer than the illustrations here suggest. It is fine for the price, since real hand made rugs cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. There is a very thin rubbery backing that is just enough to reduce slippage with the new rug, not sure if the grab will last with age.

This is a great rug! Looks awesome, colors are exactly as pictured. The fact I can toss it in the washer is exactly what I needed. I placed it in front of my couch and it fits there perfectly.
