Love them roasted
I am a vegetarian as of a month ago. A friend gave me a recipe to try with these Garbanzos. After draining them out of the can, i tossed them in Olive Oil, Paprika, Sea Salt, and Pepper and put them on a baking sheet to roast at 400 degrees for 20 mn. mid them and turn them over and roast another 20 mn. They came out amazing. This makes an awesome crunchy and salty snack with tons of fiber and protein. :-)

Damaged cans
I ordered these cans for a company charity event (CANstruction) and when we got the shipment over half of the cans were damaged. It was very difficult to build our structure and the food bank will also not accept extremely damaged cans. There were also some cans that were completely busted open in the boxes and had leaked out all over distorting the labels which then we couldn't use those either. We were very disappointed in the shape of the cans. We only had two days before the event so there was nothing we could do to replace the cans. We just had to adjust things accordingly. We do this event every year and doubt we will order again on the future.
Beward of Easy Open Cans
I love Goya Chick Peas and have been buying them for years. I will no longer purchase them because they now have an easy open can with a tab. This is some of the problems with the easy open can. 1) the tab breaks off 2) you can not open the can with a manual or electric can opener so if the tab breaks off you have to throw the can away. 3) You can cut yourself opening the can. I complained to Goya and they have no intention of changing back to the old fashion can in fact all of their beans now have the easy open tab. Maybe when sales go down goya will head the call for an old fashion can. I will now look for another brand like Progress or Rienzi.
