Grand daughter used it for only 3 weeks, headed to school 1.5 miles away on paved side walks with her friends scooter club one day with very light rain and her scooter stopped. This is the only time it had been ridden when it was wet outside. Her friends scooters are much older, but not this brand and were fine. Company is saying if battery compartment meter shows white indicating water got inside, not covered under warranty. I say, if 1 day of little rain caused scooter to shut down, battery compartment design is flawed and needs to be sealed better. Seems as though they are looking for an outlet.

The scooter seems to be a good one from the looks of it. However, it began to randomly turn off on the first day it was used. It was fully charged. Few days in, it is not turning on at all even with full charge. I have sent an email to Hapali but I haven't heard back yet. Thiis is so disappointing.
