Daiwa Health Development Gold Cast Gc100 Spincast Reel, 1 Ball Bearing, 4.1:1, 9.9 Oz, 10 lb/80 Yard

Excellent spincast reel even though it's a little on the expensive side. However I've had one of these for over 30 years and still using it today. Another great reason to buy Daiwa reels are they have parts available, even for my 30+ year old reel! They have basically not changed the reel design over all these years, just the model number, so it has to be a great reel for them to still make it the same. The only thing I would change is the "clicking" anti reverse can get annoying until you get used to it. It throws even light lures far and with the oscillating spool, you have no line tangles. I would definitely recommend this reel.
