It is so soft and fluffy. it's like a cushion when you sit on it. definitely wouldn't be good for a living room or a high traffic area, because it's so fluffy, But it's perfect for a bedroom. the back is non slip and there is a small layer of foam in between to make it extra soft. the top fabric is really thick as you can tell in the pictures.look how thick it is with my hand there. i love the gray and black tide eye effect. It's going to go perfect with my cow room. this is a very high pile/shag rug. i love it it's perfect and the kids are going to love it.

BEST SOFT FLUFFY SHAG AREA RUG EVER

The NEFOSO 8FT×10FT TIE DYED Soft Fluffy Shag Area Rug is a MUST HAVE! The reason I ordered this rug is for my 16 month old granddaughter when she visits. My flooring is very hard tile, and seeing how she walks, runs, etc. now, I was terrified she could fall on this hard tile and hurt herself, so I have searched and searched for the right area rug, hence the NEFOSO SHAG AREA RUG. It is actually perfect! The color is a dark tie dyed gray just as ordered, and fluffy shag doesn't begin to describe it. Its the softest area rug I've ever felt in my life, AND it's not only soft on top but cushioned as well. Even on my tiled floor, if she was to fall, I'd have no worries. In fact, she loves to lay on it just to fall asleep! The size is exactly as described (I ordered an 8ft×10ft), and is actually huge. The bottom of the area rug has anti slip backing so the rug does not slip, and is just the perfect combo of everything in my opinion. The area rug I got was for my living room/family room, and I could not be happier with my choice! Most definitely recommend!!!

Very fluffy and soft

Wow! This rug is SO soft! I was really surprised to see that it arrived in a relatively small box. I was expecting a rolled rug. But when I opened the package it rapidly expanded! The cushion quickly expanded too. The creases left almost immediately. The rug is fairly light weight, which is really nice for moving and carrying it. I also love the blend of black and gray colors. This will look great with our queen bed.
