Ergodyne 8935 L/XL Lime Ranger Hat

I love my Ranger Hat and I was doubly impressed while driving onto the ferry crossing the Port Aransas, Texas ship channel and I saw that all members of the security force, traffic control and deck hands were highly visible in their Hi-Vis Ranger Hats, as well. This is a hat for the ages. This hat is extremely well made, and the high-visibility material is definitely bright enough to help you be seen. the material around the crown is a perforated material similar to that used on team jerseys I wore playing youth hockey and football, and it allows for excellent ventilation. This hat also has a wide enough brim that it really works well in keeping the sun off your neck and face. Additionally, the chin strap is a necessary time because as light-weight as the hat is, it can easily be blown off your head by a strong breeze. The only reason that I have given this hat a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating is because it is not a hard hat. Honestly, I could use a hard hat with a brim that wide...
