I got these to carry an old canoe on my vehicle. The canoe is 50 years old and has been about 3,000 miles of adventures. The brackets were amazing. They carried the canoe on the car, safe and sound driving several hours and often on the highway. My son was so impressed with the canoe foot carrier that he is getting some for his canoe as well. They were way better than I could have expected.
