Dennison's Hot Chili Con Carne with Beans, 28g Protein Per Serving, 15 oz. Can

I'm so glad I found this brand. I was looking for a "hot" chili that was cheap and had failed in my first try with another brand. This is a true thick chili with a decent amount of meat to bean ratio. Sadly the heat seems to come from one ingredient but it does the trick. You get a nice heat on the back of the tongue as you swallow it. Also the heat doesn't linger in the mouth. I like cheese on my chili and used a mild cheese blend. But this chili could easily hold up with a stronger cheese, like a sharp cheddar. I was surprised to get extremely mild sniffles especially since other canned 'hot' chili never do that. And even though I can't eat spicy like I use to I was able to easily eat this. I use to make homemade chili as well as both enter and judge chili competitions. This cheaper brand surprised me at how good it was. I'm so glad I spent the ridiculous time searching Walmart online for an alternative cheap "hot" chili. I will definitely be ordering more.
