Great Shorts!

I usually object to spending what you must for Tommy Bahama clothes, even though I love them, so my wife purchases them for me and I am always happy that she does. These shorts run a bit large, so the first ones ordered had to be returned for a size smaller - I am 6'4", 210 and a 36 was a perfect fit. I got them in Azure - a great color. The weight of the fabric, length and quality of construction make them winners - add in the way they come out of the dryer with no need for an iron and I am very happy. I like the comfort and fit - and my wife will be buying more, I am sure, and I can pretend I wish she didn't spend so much money on my clothes! This was money well spent (but don't tell her I said that)...

Seam issue

So I'm a very good customer and have about 10 pairs of these shorts. However as noted by several others there are seam issues on these shorts. On 5 pairs of these shorts I have seam issues in the front crotch area. I have had to get them repaired by tailor but it's very visible. I love these shorts and hope that this seam issue can be corrected in the future. Would be great if I can do an exchange or something. Thanks

Recommend with reservations

I've been a big TB fan for years and fell in love with these shorts. I own 6 pairs and was planning on buying a few more when I noticed two pair had worn, frayed holes through the material. These two pair were only a year or or so old, maybe worn ten times. I wear these as casual shorts and to play golf in, but nothing too hard on them. I'm second guessing the quality of the material now. Its too bad, because I love the fit and the look.
