These 2-way speakers produce plenty of low range bass, not just toned low. Real hard wood sheet cabinets painted black are the real thing for good sound.

You won't be disappointed

The ribbon tweeter makes this set of speakers worth the purchase. I bought these on a lark because audio reviewer Steve Guttenberg said they were good. I utterly agree with him. The sound is bright and crisp and really pops. I bought them strictly for stereo music listening and I find them quite comparable to my other, more expensive speaker sets. At the price they are charging, these speakers are a tremendous bargain.

I was so dissappointed ....what else can I say.

This pair of speakers is a real disappoinment to me. They sound so tinny with no punch at all. The image looks good but the bass is just so lacking.
