Changed the Tide of my life

I find this particular variety harder to find. It dates to my first foray into pods, which is emotional for me because it's when my now ex-wife, during the divorce proceedings, had told me she was going to work around my clothes in the hamper and leave it to me to do my own dang laundry. I was petrified. It seemed like an impossibility that I would learn to take care of myself. I was terrified, but what a personal growth experience that was for me. Around the same time, I'd also lost a ton of weight due to aforesaid terror interfering with my appetite. So, I'd invested in a whole new wardrobe, googled about detergents and how best to wash clothing, and came up with these 4 function Tide pods with Oxi. Holy shmoly! I could do it! I could do it better than I ever had clothes washed before! I could do it with the ease of no measuring. Without using hot water. My whites were white like they never were before back when the wicked witch was doing me the great favor of washing my clothes for me. Laundry sounds like such a meaningless thing, but for me it really set the stage for realizing I could do self care and manage a home of my own, not as half-baked and drudgery, but without huge effort I could get better results, and be proud of myself. And that really carried over into so much more of my life 2.0. So, anyway, about the pods...they really do a bang up job with cold water of cleaning clothes better than detergent with the hot water. Just beware using multiple pods. The instructions from the manufacturer guide you to use 2 or even 3 pods depending on soil and load size. I have never seen a load come through not thoroughly cleaned with just 1 pod. I have, on the other hand, used multiple pods and then found that the smell of the detergent on a clean, dry garment overpowered my cologne. So go easy with these--a little goes a long way. I've used this for myself, and for my kids so I guess you can say it's good for families, linens and blankets alike. Read labels and follow them, because the best Tide pods in the world won't help you if you machine dry something that can't handle it or a silk pillowcase that requires handwashing with Woolite. If you read the instructions and use this particular Tide pod, I believe you will have better results with your clothing than trusting them to anyone else.

Love these little pods! As an older woman I like them instead of a big large bottle full of liquid that I had to lift! It measures exactly what you need! Thanks to whoever thought of that!

Tide Pods Ultra

I like Tide Pods Ultra because it leaves my clothes clean. However I have notice a little powder on my towels. I am going to try a second rinse and see if it disappears. I think Tide is a wonderful product but it is a little expensive. I think more people would buy it if it was less expensive.
