Quick and easy

I was overjoyed that I could pick up the DVD series at my local WalMart. I didn't even have to travel the 60 miles to the WalMart Superstore. I picked up the series that same day I ordered it. I had to shop and I wanted to pick up the DVDs instore rather than pick up in my car. No problem. The WalMart associate found me in the store while I was shopping and presented it to me. It does not get any easier than that.

One of the best shows ever made.

Northern Exposure is thirty years old and still is unparalleled in its creative impact. The show ran approximately five years with some of the best writing on television, even when there were obvious problems with the direction of the show midway through it's run. Still, the show retained a fun, mystical and character-driven story that you fall in love with. Some episodes are a bit dated, (hey, we're talking early '90's now, but the fun and warmth of the show is intact.

One of my favorite shows! There was concern about the rights to some of the music included in the show that kept it from being available for so long, but there is only a small amount of the music that has been replaced. My favorite scene out of the entire series is from Season 3, Episode 8 where Ruth Anne and Ed dance on the grave Ed gives her as a birthday present.
