Ideal for small dogs

I got the straight sided 3 step stairs for my almost 15 year old Shih Tzu. She only weighs around 11 lbs. These stairs are perfect for her. At least they would be if she'd use them. She doesn't see well, and so far has not taken to them. I have to "walk" her up them. I've tried steps before. She'd quite honestly just rather be picked up. Regardless, they are good steps. They're sturdy for small dogs. I like the cover. It's soft, and fits well. You can unzip it to remove it and wash it. The bottom has tiny raised paw prints to help avoid slippage. The stairs come with hard plastic inserts to keep the steps even and secure. They slip right in the sides. There's even a handle for moving them around. It came well packaged. It was tightly rolled in plastic wrap. Once you cut that the stairs pop out and swell up. I really don't see any negatives to the steps if you have a small dog. I guess if it gets a little wild they might topple over. I love that you can remove that cover and clean it. Like I said, I think they'll be perfect for my dog if I can get her to use them.

Very happy with the stairs

I was very pleasantly surprised my stairs arrived in that vacuum packing, and I've read some reviews saying how it never puffed up after days of waiting. Mine popped right into shape, looks perfect! My dog prefers the rounded edge stairs rather than the cut in stairs. So I'm very happy, and it was on sale. I bought a first one for the bedroom and this one for the living room, and paid twice the price for the first one. Very happy.
